FAQ

Questions about SEO, AI search and WordPress, answered.

Short, straight answers about the free site check, how I work and what I can and cannot promise. If your question is not here, ask me directly.

The free site check

What is the free site check?

A free review of your website. I tell you what I would fix and what I could do with the site, and I make a quick landing page mockup so you can see the direction.

What do I need to send you?

Just your URL, through the contact form. A line about what you want to improve helps me look in the right place.

How long does it take?

Usually one working day. You get it back in English, Turkish or Dutch.

Do I have to hire you afterwards?

No. It costs nothing and you are not obliged to hire me. You decide whether you want to go further.

SEO and AI search

What are GEO and AEO, and are they different from SEO?

They build on SEO. SEO helps your pages rank in search results. GEO (generative engine optimization) and AEO (answer engine optimization) help AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI answers understand your business and cite your site. Good technical SEO is the base for both.

Can you promise rankings or AI citations?

No. Nobody can honestly promise a position or a citation. I can promise a clear audit, careful work and reports you can check yourself.

What is structured data?

Code in your pages, written in the schema.org vocabulary that search engines share, that says who you are, what you offer and where you work. It gives Google and AI tools facts they do not have to guess.

What is an llms.txt file?

A plain text file on your site that tells AI tools what the site is about and which pages matter. It is a young convention, so nobody can promise how every tool uses it, but it is cheap to add. You can see one in the mirook.com case study.

How do you report results?

From Google Search Console and Google Analytics, so you can see for yourself what changed and what worked.

WordPress websites

Do you build new sites or fix existing ones?

Both. I build new WordPress sites, and I work on existing sites, WordPress or not, when the problem is SEO, structure or content.

Which tools do you build with?

WordPress with Elementor and Astra, set up for search from day one, and WooCommerce when you sell online.

Can you look after my site after launch?

Yes. If you want, I keep the site updated and manage the content afterwards.

Working together

Where are you based, and do you only work locally?

I'm based in Zwijndrecht, near Antwerp. I work with businesses around Antwerp and remotely across Belgium and beyond.

Which languages do you work in?

English fluently and Turkish as my native language. My Dutch is B1 for writing.

How does a project run?

Four steps: the free site check, a short written plan with goals, pages and keywords, the build and fixes, and then reporting and, if you want, maintenance.

Will I be able to follow the work?

Yes. I make the changes myself, in your site, and you can follow progress as it happens.

What does it cost?

It depends on what your site needs. The free site check costs nothing, and we agree on the goals and pages in a short written plan before any paid work starts.

Still have a question?

Send it with your URL and I’ll answer it in your free site check.
